The first of this design was built for a private island owner who needed serious hauling capacity without sacrificing speed – twin outboards cruise at 25 mph and hit 40+ wide open, with a load capacity built for a tractor. But the platform doesn’t stop at one job. The all-aluminum hull, automatic drop-down bow door, and open deck layout adapt readily to research, fire, police, or utility work, and as a custom builder, Lyman-Morse can configure the house, deck, and systems to match. Wherever the work happens, the LMW 30 gets there fast and gets the load ashore.
